Hudson Valley Restaurant Week returns

Terrapin in Rhinebeck is one of nearly 40 local restaurants participating in Hudson Valley Restaurant Week this spring.

It’s time to plan a leisurely lunch or a three-course dinner. The spring edition of Hudson Valley Restaurant returns March 21 to April 3 with specially priced feasts generally ranging from $26.95 to $39.95.

The two-week dining event provides a great excuse to try a new restaurant or plan a day trip around a meal. You could take the weekday New York Waterway ferry from Beacon to Newburgh, for instance, and walk 10 minutes to participating restaurant Toasted, then explore the city’s renowned architecture. Or eat at New York Restaurant in Greene County, and hit up the Thomas Cole National Historic Site and Subversive Brewing to round out a Catskill day trip.
