INITIAL EMT ONLINE HYBRID | NAR Training

Course Description

NAR Training’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Online Hybrid Initial Education Course adheres to the US Department of Transportation’s National Emergency Medical Service Education Standards. The EMT Training program is approximately 195.5 hours in length, with a blend of online didactic education with 24/7 accessibility and fulfillment of laboratory, clinical, and field training requirements at one of our training centers.

Graduates of this program will be able to describe the essential elements for response to the scene of a medical emergency; perform a thorough patient assessment for signs and symptoms of illness/injury; provide prompt and efficient basic emergency care to the sick and injured. Students will also learn how to handle safely and prepare the patient for transportation and describe the essential elements of safe and orderly transportation of the patient to the hospital and transfer of the patient to a higher level of care.

Capabilities

Upon successful completion of the EMT Online Hybrid Course, graduates will be eligible to test for a national registry of EMT ‘EMT Certification’ through PearsonVue (a 3rd party testing center)
