OUR STORY

TAQUERIA MORELIA  first opened its doors back in November 2007. With the flow of positive response and constant support of our community, we were able to open a second establishment just 3 years later.

We are originally from Michoacán, Mexico and are proud to showcase our culinary roots and bring you a taste of the gastronomic delights of Michoacán. We pay homage to our beautiful state capital, Morelia (with its emblematic pink quarry stone), equally as beautiful as our youngest daughter who also bears its name.

Our house specialty, “The Best Tacos in Town”, are made with that special Michoacán culinary style. We use only the finest and freshest ingredients, freshly handmade corn tortillas and offer a variety of delicious homemade Mexican salsas to choose from; it’s no wonder the Miami New Times awarded us the “Best Mexican Restaurant”.
