Local Russian restaurant, Pushkin, receives hateful threats since war began

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) –  As the war intensifies in Ukraine reportedly, so do the threats against one local restaurant owner.

Ike Gazaryan owns “Pushkin Restaurant and Bar” downtown and says he has been harassed since Russia first invaded Ukraine.

The owners of Pushkin restaurant in San Diego received a disturbing voicemail, the person is heard in the voicemail saying, “you killed my uncle and my whole family you disgusting Russians.”

On Good Morning San Diego, KUSI’s Jenny Milkowski talked with Gazaryan about these threats and what he want the people to know about Russian-American refugees.
