About Los Angeles

While the city of Angels is more known for its private clubs such as L.A. Country Club, Riviera and Bel-Air CC, the daily-fee golf in the Los Angeles area is pretty good if you know where to look.

You could start with the city’s municipal gems at historic Griffith Park. Not only are they fun to play, but economical as well. The rest of the daily-fee options are along the city’s edges or nearby suburbs, but courses such as Angeles National in Sunland and Trump National, home of the most expensive 18th hole in the world, aren’t that far.

As for things to do in the area, there’s no limit — from catching a tour at Universal Studios (or the theme park) near Hollywood, to venturing over to Venice Beach to people watch. Great restaurants, day spas and shopping on Rodeo Drive are also part of the charm of L.A.
