Lucille’s menu in Houston, Texas, USA

Recently took a short road trip to the great city of Houston, Texas to visit some relatives and also to view a special exhibition at The Museum of Fine Arts. While I was in Houston I had lunch at Lucille’s, a restaurant that has been on my radar for the last couple of years. My party of 4 was quickly seated, as we did have a reservation. We started lunch with Fried Green Tomatoes and they were hot and delicious. For the main entree my cousin’s wife and I both ordered the Yardbird, which is 2 pieces of Fried Chicken (leg & thigh) with smoked mashed potatoes and FRESH Collard Greens with a side of cornbread. My sister ordered the seared scallops with a side of Collard Greens, my cousin decided on the Hot Chicken Sandwich with Fries. EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING was on point. No complaints, the food was Absolutely Scrumptious and the service was Exceptional (Thanks Joseph). We finished lunch with dessert, warm bread pudding with berries on top ?. Definitely a Winner. Lucille’s lived up to all the rave reviews. The only drawback was the the limited amount of parking around the restaurant but, other than that 5 stars ??????????.
