Los Cabos Mexico’s Paradise has seduced many with its beautiful beaches, wonderful restaurants, and lovely tropical climate, with sunshine pretty much all year round, making it perfect for those looking to escape and relax. But now Los Cabos has become the new international hot spot for those who love the game of golf.

You’ll be hitting unforgettable tee shots on one-of-a-kind golf courses that will have you absolutely mesmerized. So we want to share with you the top 5, most stunning golf courses in Los Cabos to book your next tee time:

1. Palmilla Golf Club

Recognized as the “Grand Dame of Los Cabos Golf,”  this is Jack Nicklaus’ first signature design in Latin America and the only 27-hole layout in Los Cabos. With stunning views of the Sea of Cortez and challenging holes, it boasts three distinct nines: Mountain, Ocean and Arroyo, which combine breathtaking oceanfront holes with climbs and drops through a sequence of rocky canyons. It is truly a world-class masterpiece and the best of Cabo golf in all Los Cabos.

2. Cabo del Sol – Ocean Course

Designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, it is the highest ranked in all of Mexico. The course mixes dramatic and strategic desert holes along two famous coastal stretches that bring the player right to the edge of the amazing crashing surf. Mr. Nicklaus, himself has said “it is the finest” he’s ever seen. But the signature is the three-hole oceanfront climax, one of the most famous finales in golf, which is truly a golfer’s dream experience.

3. Diamante Complex – El Cardonal

It’s Tiger Wood’s first design. This spectacular course boasts with ocean views from every single hole, which is very unique and unusual for Cabo’s golf courses. Inspired by the timeless courses of Southern California that he grew up playing, Tiger’s vision is to create a course that brings back the need for strategy, making this a bit challenging for even the expert players, but also providing a variety of holes for those who may not be as experienced  as well. This allows it to truly be accessible and fun for golfers of all skill levels. It’s nearly 7,400-yard grounds consist of rambles through a mix of coastal sand dunes and mountainous high desert, crisscrossed by penal arroyos. El Cardonal is now known as the “must-play” course while of your next Cabo vacation.

4. Querencia – Fazio Golf

Renowned architect,  Tom Fazio holds the world record in designing the most Top 100 Courses in the US than any other architect, ever. And his first Mexican masterpiece is a stunner. Querencia is a semi-private gated residential club set on a high hill with complete ocean views throughout. The course is a thrilling experience complete with every setting possible-uphill and downhill holes, challenging zigzaged holes, low cliffs and even rocky-like arenas. Unlike the other area courses,Fazio is free of hotel distraction, making it a true escape tucked away in a hill from San Jose. It is more on the private end but you can still manage to get an unforgettable golf experience with advance inquiries.

5. Quivira

Located just 10 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas, Nicklaus has designed a course that has redefined the Cabo golf experience – Quivira Golf Club.

Famous for its dramatic setting at the tip of the Baja Peninsula and formed by pearly cliffs, huge dunes and rolling desert foothills, Quivira offers more oceanfront exposure than any other course in Los Cabos, with views of the Pacific from every hole and has earned the accolade of the “Best New International Course” by GOLF Magazine, in 2014. One exquisite perk of this course is a little hut situated near the eighth green, called the “Oasis,” which showcases the culinary talents of the resort’s chefs, with regional cuisine and refreshments available.
