NJ Is Home to Some Amazing Inflatable Obstacle Courses – NJ Family

Kids love bouncy houses and kids love water sports, so why not merge the two and spend the day playing at one of NJ’s exciting inflatable aqua parks? These inflatable courses are popping up across the state and feature things like a giant iceberg or climbing wall. Your kids will love turning an ordinary day at the lake or beach into something incredible as they climb and bounce all over the place. Just be sure to remember your basic water safety tips, and don’t forget the sunscreen!

Capt. Kilroy Park has a man-made swimming lake with a sand beach, a children’s playground, lighted basketball and volleyball court, a softball field, a picnic area, locker rooms and a concession stand. The newest amenities include a Wibit Play Area in the water as well as a diving dock – a perfect place to host your child’s next summer birthday party.

Island Water Sports
Margate and Stone Harbor
Experience the ultimate water fun, all in the bay. Bounce around on the famous blob launchpad, slides, rock climbing wall, jungle gym, rope climb, cliffs and more. Everyone must wear a life vest, which is provided. There are no reservations and it’s first come, first served, so try to arrive early. Payment for the 45-minute playtime is cash only.

Lake Barnegat

This beautiful lake area is taking the fun up a notch with an inflatable, floating obstacle course that’s open to Ocean County residents only. Lacey Township residents pay $10 per hour to play on the Wibit course, while non-residents are granted hourly access for $15 per hour. This floating playground is also available for events like birthday parties or family gatherings. For everyone’s safety, lifejackets are required when playing on the inflatable course and you must be 8 years or older to hop on. All payments must be made with cash or checks.

The Splash Zone at Darlington County Park
Mahwah
Kids and adults can play together in The Splash Zone. Sessions are from 10:40 am – 3:30 pm for children 48 inches or taller, which includes one 10-minute safety usage orientation plus a 50-minute experience. At 4:40 pm, kids at least 39 inches are welcome to join in on the fun. The Splash Zone is cleared at the end of each hour. Adults can take part as well. Life jackets must be worn at all times.

Test your skills on the inflatable Wibit obstacle course. Sessions are available daily when the facility is open to the public. You must be at least 7 years old and pass a swim test. If you need extra time to pay, rent out the Wibit for your own private access – it’s a great team builder for sports teams, corporate groups, clubs and organizations. Consider hosting a birthday party here, or plan your camp/scout visit.

Totally Tubular Aqua Park
Ocean City
There is more than 8,500-square-feet of activity with 20+ unique features for kids aged 6 and up. Sessions are 45 minutes and start on the hour, but the park is tide-dependent, so time slots vary by day. Life jackets are provided, and the park is monitored by supervisors at all times.
