We are fortunate to have Jim Tobin as our local pro at Patriot Golf Course. He also hosts clinics and camps throughout the season.

Shopping is enjoyable at the Pro Shop. We carry a full line of golfing necessities such as clubs, balls, bags, and clothing including shoes. We’re happy to help with a special order on golf equipment.

The 275 yard driving range features 20 grass tees and 8 mat hitting surfaces. Golfers can practice with irons and drivers. Tokens for the range ball dispenser are available in the pro shop. Driving Range Keys can be purchased which provide 20% savings.

Patrons must show valid military ID as proof of rank/RET/VET status. Retirees will pay

Our nine-hole regulation golf course provides a wonderful outdoor recreational activity that challenges all levels of golfers from beginner to advanced. In the United States the Patriot Golf Course has been voted multiple times as “Best U.S. Military Small Golf Course.” National professional golfers recognize the course as the best value for golf in Boston’s Metrowest.

Many programs take place throughout the season such as club championships, monthly tournaments, seasonal programs, group and private lessons for all ages. We offer an assortment of programs for Active Duty, Retirees, Veterans, DoD Civilians, and the general public. Wounded Warriors and Veterans are eligible for free instruction on Fridays, 1-3pm.

Come and enjoy the Air Force heritage of this course and play for its history, heroes, and the tradition.

General Public is Welcome 

At Patriot Golf Course we value the support and services that the local communities extend to our military personnel and veterans who work and live at Hanscom. Our course is available to the general public with a few restrictions:

 

  • Military and authorized DoD patrons have priority use during peak play.

  • Eligible to play Mon-Thu, 11am-3pm and anytime after 5pm, and

    Fri-

    Sun, 12pm-close.

  • Tee time must be scheduled one day in advance, over the phone and with a credit card.

  • Annual memberships and 10-Play Punch Cards are prohibited.

Tournaments

Need to plan a golf outing? Organizational tournaments may be scheduled through the business office. The Tournament Tent is available to rent for parties, special dinners, reunions, and more.

 

Regulations

USGA Rules of Golf govern all play unless otherwise noted.

Rules:

No penalty to lift, clean or drop embedded ball.

Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions.

Flower beds are ground under repair – mandatory relief.

White Stakes = Out of Bounds 

Yellow Stakes = Water Hazard 

Red Stakes = Lateral Water Hazard

Policies:

• Proper attire with collared shirt required.

• All players must have clubs and register prior to play.

• Repair ball marks, sand divots and bunkers.

In Case of Emergency

• Sound of long blasts requires moving to the back of the 8th green.

• Sound of 3 short blasts during severe weather requires all visitors to exit the course.
