Your Certificate:
After all requirements have been met (see below), students will be automatically awarded a certificate and logo for marketing purposes by email. Once certified, students may add the certification logo to business cards, websites, email signatures, blogs, promotional materials, and more.

 

Requirements:

To earn a Property Management Certification, participants must complete any 4 of the listed course(s) and respective exam(s) below with a passing score.

• You may take as many courses as desired and in any order.
• Only courses taken within the last year (12 months) apply to a Certification.

All C.A.R. Education certifications expire 2 years from the date they were awarded and anyone who wishes to renew must retake the course(s) or take a renewal course if available. Courses are updated regularly so that new information is available to new and returning agents and members.

 

PMC COURSES:

• PMC 1: Residential Property Management
  

  This course will provide you with a general understanding about the responsibilities, functions, and skills involved in property management. Distinguish between off-site and on-site property managers and their duties, positions, training, and expertise.  At the end of this course you will have increased your property management expertise, as well as developed some practical application guidelines that you can apply immediately to your business.

Renewal Requirement:
Members who took Certification courses and received their certification in 2018 and prior years are encouraged (but not required) to take the bundle again or take the renewal course (if available) since information within the real estate industry is constantly updated and changing. Members who take the Certification courses in 2019 and beyond (i.e. 2020, 2021, etc.) will be required by C.A.R. Education to renew their certification.
