Restaurant Teranga, African, Senegalese specialties

The Teranga offers traditional dishes from both Senegal and Gambia. The food base in these two countries is rice or couscous, with which various sauces are served.

Here is a small selection of typical dishes:
Buyah: Fried rice with lamb or beef
Maffe: rice or couscous, served with meat and sauce, fish and green salad
Yassa: Arros or couscous with chicken and onion sauce
Budien: Fried rice with fish and vegetables

Teranga is more than a restaurant to visit for lunch or dinner. It is a place of encounter and exchange. Therefore, since its establishment some 10 years ago, it has been an important project for the Senegalese community in Barcelona as well as for Barcelona itself.
