Scott Disick’s NYC restaurant closes

Scott Disick’s New York City restaurant Ryu has apparently closed after just 191 days in operation.

Disick hosted a star-studded opening for Ryu in the Meatpacking District in April, which was attended by partner Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Kanye West.

Ryu apparently suffered from low sales and eventually became strictly a take-out eatery prior to being shut down by Hurricane Sandy, according to Life & Style.

The restaurant reportedly did not reopen after the Superstorm dissipated, with the company’s Twitter page and OpenTable site being disabled.

A source close to the restaurant’s management told the publication that Disick has not held ownership in Ryu for some time.

Disick is most well known for appearing in Kourtney’s reality shows, including Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
