Scott Disick’s NYC Restaurant Closes After 191 Days – Life & Style

So much for that business venture!

Life & Style has learned that Scott Disick’s NYC restaurant, Ryu, has closed after only 191 days of operation.

On last season’s Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Scott’s girlfriend — and mother of his son Mason and daughter Penelope — Kourtney Kardashian didn’t support his new gig at first. “I’ll believe it when I see it,” she said to him after he told her about his plans to open the Japanese spot with partner Jesse Camac.

Lo and behold, on April 23, Scott, 29,  proved her wrong when he officially opened the space in the Big Apple’s Meatpacking District.

But it looks as though Kourtney’s hunch was right. Ryu recently locked its door and began selling diner-type food through a to-go window. Then it shut entirely because of Superstorm Sandy — and never reopened. Their OpenTable page and Twitter accounts have all been disabled.

Insiders say that Scott hasn’t had a stake in the restaurant for quite some time.

All good things must come to an end… even if that end is only after six months!
