What started as a humble mom and pop food truck back in 2003 has since risen to the award winning full service restaurant that sits proudly in the downtown core of Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

SoBo, short for *sophisticated bohemian*, embodies Chef Lisa Ahier’s style of grassroots gourmet cuisine. Dishes highlight wild, foraged, and local seasonal ingredients, and are complemented
by the region’s best biodynamic wines and craft brews.

SoBo’s identity has been shaped by an ethos of sourcing local, organic, and wild foraged ingredients.
Surrounded by the rich abundance of produce and seafood on British Columbia’s west coast,
Chef Lisa works closely with dozens of the area’s independent growers, fishers, and harvesters
to source exceptional ingredients for the menu.
