THE 10 BEST Connecticut Golf Courses (with Photos) – Tripadvisor

Very nice course, personally, I did not like the spread out feel of the course, nor was there much in landscaping around tee boxes and such. The overall landscape and design was beautiful, and quite difficult. Out of play, is a lost ball almost every time

The tee boxes seemed over used, alot of divots, greens were VERY hard, but not alot of undulation. The traps…were well kept, but MANY were infested/(or just more than my liking) with Mud Wasp, and we just took drops rather than deal with them.

Staff was great, met us immediately at the Bag drop with clear instructions. Practice area was quite isolated and seemed forgotten, had to hit off mats for practice, which I am not a fan, however, there were Mud Hornets all over the place, that prevented us from hitting off grass.

Overall, it was a good experience. However, having played the day before at Mohegan Sun at Pautipaug, and last summer at Fox Hopyard, my expectations were a little higher. I went for the experience, but for the amount we paid, I probably would not play there again.
