The Palm Restaurant – Dallas
After more than 90 years, the Palm is still family owned, with multiple locations across the country–and globe. In addition to the signature caricatures of famous Palm regulars, the Dallas outpost also depicts some Dallas Cowboy greats.
The restaurant chain started off in New York City as an Italian-focused eatery, but that quickly changed as loyal guests demanded steaks on the menu. Owners and Italian natives Pio Bozzi and John Ganzi quickly obliged diners by regularly running to a nearby butcher’s shop to keep them happy.
Eventually, of course, the owners permanently put steaks on the menu and the restaurant soon became known as one of New York’s best steakhouses. You’ll find classic Italian dishes, steaks and chops and seafood. Family recipes of chicken parmigiana, veal marsala and veal parmigiana are a few of the favorites.
