“I first played Torrey Pines in 1968 with my brother. It was a nice municipal course then … and an experience to remember. Fast forward to today. Torrey Pines is a great golf facility with its two 18-hole PGA courses hugging the top of Torrey Pines bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Torrey Pines is still a municipal golf course owned and maintained by the City of San Diego, but it looks and plays like a world-class private course. In addition to the golf courses themselves, Torrey Pines has a driving range, practice greens, excellent Pro Shop, and the Grill at Torrey Pines in the Torrey Pines Lodge.”
