If you like to sink your toes in the sand or dine in flip-flops, you are going to love these locally-owned coastal eateries. For those who want a romantic flair, dress up for an evening at the Bistro’s complete with sunsets and toasting beverages.
PIER DINING.
For a more casual experience. From Grouper to Calamari, Hot dogs to Mahi-Mahi, the menus offer something for the whole family. The marina and bay activity is part of the attraction. Dolphins may be gliding by as fishermen cast their bait. The sea birds are as entertaining as they are beautiful. Enjoy the sunrise to a cup of coffee, or sunset to cocktails and music.
The Rod and Reel Pier. Located on the Northside of Anna Maria Island, the view ranges from Tampa Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. The Rod and Reel are popular for their Grouper and other fresh Seafood. With a full breakfast menu, it is a popular place to catch the sunrise. They also have a great Happy Hour.
The Waterfront_ by Anna Maria City Pier. This family-friendly bar/restaurant is an Island favorite for special occasions and great food. With charm and ambiance, you can dine by the mesmerizing tank of tropical fish, near the rustic fireplace, or even on the patio overlooking the bay. A well-rounded menu with items that nearly all customers are familiar with, and an outlet for more adventurous and traveled diners to experience the best and brightest available product in our market.
The Historical Bridge Street City Pier This Bradenton Beach Pier is at the end of Bridge Street, tucked alongside Shopping and Marina. “The Anna Maria Oyster Bar” is serving dinner and cocktails along the water. Enjoy the view of the lovely pier as well as the marina view. Boaters welcome.
The Bridge Tender Inn. ~Relax and enjoy this Lively American bar & eatery. Choose from indoor seating, with a more intimate vibe. Barside indoor or patio to lively entertainment in this sports pub, or marina side to fresh air, soothing music and great Pina Coladas.

Gulf Drive Cafe~Casual beachfront dining, sports bar, dancing and festive tropical cocktails to celebrate fantastic sunsets. The breakfast by the bay is my personal favorite. The menu features a variety of amazing choices. An easy walk from most of our Bradenton Beach rental properties.
The Beach Bistro~ Enjoy Coastal Cuisine, at it’s finest. Their Grouper sandwich was declared, by the Tampa Tribune, as being in the 10 best memorable dishes. With an extensive wine list and Bar menu, you don’t have to break the bank to eat The Sandbar~Award winning, beachfront seafood restaurant, with deck service, full bar, and fine dining options. Also, a great place to plan a beach wedding, or celebrate a special occasion. The sunset view is in popular demand. Reserve your table or enjoy the lovely gift shop or cocktail lounge while you wait.
Bridge Street Bistro~ This elegant bistro sits on the second floor, above the Island Time Bar and grill. With the balcony seating, overlooking the Gulf beaches, you’ll enjoy happy hour and dining to the magnificent sunsets and beach view. The casual resort dress code allows comfort and luxury. If you are in the mood for Steaks, then look no further. The extensive menu ranges from the Lobster bisque to Filet Mignon, or enjoy sushi and other tasty seafood specialties.
Moose Lodge on Anna Maria Island is a members-only establishment. Right on the beach serving delicious food and refreshments and lively entertainment. Stop at the Bridge Street roundabout and face the beach. You are there.
The Beach House~ A sister to The Sandbar and Mar Vista, you are sure to love the award-winning menu items as well as the delightful wait staff. Perfect for families, the Beach House has plenty of room for kids to play on our newly renourished beach while you enjoy the sunset, a tropical drink, and fresh Florida seafood.
